RBSP competitively awards 20 four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities – especially our disadvantaged youth.
Recipients may use the renewable scholarships to attend an accredited four-year college or university of their choice within the United States. Ron Brown scholarships are not limited to any specific field or career objective and may be used to pursue any academic discipline. Since the Program’s inception in 1996, 683 students have been designated as Ron Brown Scholars.
Applicants for the Ron Brown Scholarship MUST be Black/African American, US citizens or permanent residents, and a current high school senior at the time of their application.

Upon successful completion of the LR45 pilot initial training course, the recipient will be able to conduct a 100 percent type rating checkride in the Learjet 45 simulator. The scholarship winner must, as a minimum, be a holder of a private pilot certificate with multiengine and instrument ratings.

The National Aviation Exploring Committee awards scholarships annually to encourage Aviation Explorers to enter and complete an aviation curriculum. The Airmen Memorial Foundation (AMF) conducts scholarship programs to financially assist the undergraduate studies of eligible dependents of military personnel. International Cessna 170 Association Scholarship
The International Cessna® 170 Association (TIC170A) is a 501(c) 7 nonprofit membership organization formed to preserve the classic 170 aircraft by sharing information. An annual scholarship of $1,500 is possible because of the generous contributions of individual members and others. TIC170A will keep all submitted information confidential. Scholarship recipient criteria includes:
• Applicant does not have to be a member or related to a TIC170A member. • Applicant must be a high school graduate or graduating the year they are applying for the scholarship and be enrolled in or graduated from an education institution in an aviation-related program.
• Applicant can be a part-time or full-time student. • Previous scholarship winners may apply in the following years, but a new application must be submitted.
• All applications will be considered on an equal basis.
• The scholarship award will be paid directly to the educational institution in U.S. dollars. • Applications must be postmarked by April 30 each year or received by email by midnight on April 30. The application and all attachments must be submitted together.

Daedalian Flying Training
Daedalian Flying Training is a four-way partnership of the Daedalian Foundation, participating flights, FAA-certified flight schools and selected candidates. Sponsored by the Daedalian Foundation and participating Daedalian flights across the country, successful applicants will receive ground and flight training necessary to achieve a solo flight in a general aviation fixed-wing aircraft.
The Daedalian Foundation shares the cost of training with the flight for up to three students per year with funds from the Tex Hill and Les Leavoy DFT Scholarship accounts.

This fund will grant a scholarship to an individual between the ages of 17-33 who are enrolled in an aviation program for flight or maintenance.

- Ground and flight training costs associated with obtaining an FAA Private Pilot Certificate from Camarillo Flight Instruction.
- Headset for flight training.

The Bremerton Pilots Association is offering a $5,500 scholarship for young men and women in the greater Puget Sound area who have the desire to obtain a Private Pilot License. This Scholarship is made possible by donations and fund raising activities by the Bremerton Pilots Association and friends of aviation in the community.

FT Scholarship Award: This award is to be used for the express purpose of flight training for any pilot certificate and/or flight rating issued by the FAA at any facility offering flight training under the aegis of Part 61, Part 141, or any future Part of the Federal Air Regulations enacted to govern flight training.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS - MUST BE MET BY ALL APPLICANTS
Scholarship awards are open to all individuals, regardless of gender, race or national origin, who can meet the general criteria listed below and the specific selection criteria that follow. All applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a citizen of the United States.
- Be able to read, write and speak English to FAA standards
- Write an essay (not to exceed 500 words) outlining your career goals in aviation and your interests, any special qualifications and experiences. Comment on your educational and employment accomplishments to date.
- Be a resident of San Diego County, California at the time of application.
- Submit a letter of recommendation endorsed by an aviation professional, for example, Chief Pilot for FT Awards, Program Director for MT Awards.

Canadian Owners and Pilots Association Neil Armstrong Scholarship Fund
The COPA Neil J. Armstrong Ab-Initio Scholarship promotes Canadian pilot development by providing annual scholarships to a student pilot in an ab-initio flight training program. Created to honour one of Canada’s foremost aviators, the scholarship has helped many Canadian pilots get their wings.
COPA’s Neil J. Armstrong Ab-Initio Scholarship provides up to $14,000 toward eligible training costs associated with obtaining a Private Pilot License (PPL).

Colorado Aviation Business Association (CABA) Scholarship
As part of our ongoing commitment to developing future aviation workforce needs, CABA provides financial assistance to aspiring and advancing aviation professionals through their scholarship program. And just this year, they partnered with Flight Safety International, a global provider of initial, advanced, and master training in all areas of aviation for government, military, airlines, and general/business aviation operators. Through this collaboration they are now offering joint scholarships for initial training for a Second In Command pilot type rating.

EAA Chapter 631 and Island City Aero Club (Cumberland, WI) Flight Training Scholarship
Island City Aero Club awards one $1000.00 flight training scholarship per year. It is often awarded in conjunction with a $1000.00 flight training scholarship from Chapter 631 of the EAA for a total award of $2000.00
Each year the deadline to apply is March 30. Any applications received after March 30 will be considered along with all applications received up until the next March 30.
An award winner will be chosen from applicants of the same year, only one flight training scholarship is awarded per year.

- Resident of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, Nantucket, Massachusetts
The Cape Area Pilots Association, Inc. (CAPA) was founded in 1995 to further the interest in aviation for those living in the Cape Cod and Islands area.
To that end, CAPA offers several scholarships each year up to $5,000 to individuals interested in pursuing an aviation career, enrolling or continuing in higher education institutions in aviation learning. These scholarships are not exclusively for pilot training.
Scholarships are available for:
· Pilot training
· Maintenance technician
· Air traffic controller
· Aerodynamics studies
· Aviation operations specialists
· Airport management
· Related aviation sciences.
